Miwako is a Japanese girl (anyone who's younger than us is either a girl or a guy!) whom Jane has known since graduate school in 1996, and the two of them are very good friends. On our second day in Tokyo, we met Miwako's parents, aunt, and older sister, and they took us sightseeing all over the city, visiting various places in Shinjuku, Hamamatsucho, and Asakusa.

After a wonderful meal consisting of steak (Mitch) and red snapper (Jane), along with a wonderful salad and dessert buffet, we enjoyed another panoramic view of Tokyo, this time from the 52nd floor (some of the buildings in this picture are 20 stories, yet they look so tiny!)
