Motomachi and ChinaTown are two other districts in Yokohama, and we walked around them after seeing Yamate. Both dating from the 1860s, Motomachi is a very popular shopping district while ChinaTown is the largest of its kind in Japan and one of the largest in the world.

Once out of the Ishikawacho train station in Yokohama, we saw this single lane traffic tunnel that cuts through the hill near the 99 steps to Yamate Bluff.
