A small town located in Shikotsu-Toya National Park, Noboribetsu Onsen (not to be confused with the town of Noboribetsu, which is but 6 kilometers away) is the largest hot spring town on the island of Hokkaido. The main attractions of Noboribetsu Onsen include Jigokudani (aka "Hell Valley", where the hot springs waters originate from) and Dai-Ichi Takimotokan (a famous hotel that offers 30 hot spring baths).

Once inside the entrance to the onsen, you found yourself in a changing room, where you "put yourself back together" after using the onsens. The men's onsen had razors, several types of aftershave cologne, q-tips, hair dryers, etc.

Outside of the two large windows in the right hand portion of this window is the outdoor onsen for men.
